Yes, f*** the system!
I don't trust the system or most of our politicians.
Democracy means power for the people, but many people have forgotten that.
When leaders forget that power comes from the people, it's up to us to remind them.
By the way, please don't move this topic to the political part of this forum because this topic is bigger than politics!
This topic is about us and the fact that we need to take control. Not just online, but also in real life!
Any ideas?
In real life - I help when I can, I do my best to make everything better, my biggest weapon is the truth because I don't like violence.
How can we make this world better without violence?
I really do think it is the simple things that can change things, you know, helping your sisters and brothers of the world, and animals, and nature, etc.

1 - I see the 'F' word. I'm surprised. I thought that was filtered out. Great to see it back!
2 - Any ideas? Well ... if you get rid of 'the system' then you have to put another system in it's place. And systems always screw up in some way or other. So if we get rid of 'the system', and put in a new 'the system', won't we be right back here with complaints?
Democracy and a free market capitalist system has it's flaws but it's the best system that humans have.

But, the problem is that our democracy is a lie.

Do not consent to things that don't make sense. The system is big, a lot of us would not be here without it. You have to go way out and live independently to get away from most of it. Some of it is getting a bit wonky. Try to limit your interactions with government, do it yourself if you can. Work with the parts that are still kinda working.
I know there are some bad people doing some bad things. If most of society can keep it together then hopefully it does not all crash.

Thanks for your thoughts.
The only part of society that can keep it together right now are the creatures who are able to love.

Get out in nature or read a book; leave the AI to suck up duck ponds and Jack up the electricity. You can do your own sketches and make your own memes.
Plant a garden and enjoy watching it grow and bloom.
Be kind to animals and children.
Honestly? Emerson has a poem that lays out some finer points. Voltaire likes gardens too.
Oh. And something about “watering the Tree of Liberty”… but that has violent intonation…

It’s a Constitutional Republic here in the States.
One in danger of “being kept”.
So there’s that.

In real life, f@cking the system, simply has the favour returned.
Better to learn how to play the system.
As to a better world without violence.
Humans are violent by nature.
Evolution gave us that trait for survival and competition.
But it also gave us empathy, cooperation, and morality.
As to control, that's illusory at best.
Same with freedom if we are being completely honest.
Humans require a semblance of law to be in place.
Otherwise, survival of the fittest becomes the colour of the day and anarchy prevails.
I dont think we can take away our propensity toward violence.
Not without changing what it means to be human.
But we can channel it and limit it through our laws, empathy, and institutions.
The best we can hope to achieve is to reduce how often it appears rather than eliminate it.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

Yeah, but it's a preferable lie.
Humans lie to one another constantly just as a matter of fact
We tend to prioritise harmony or advantage over strict truths.
