And technically only freefall or weightlessness like vomit comet airplane not zero-g that would be much higher than 60 someodd miles they went, not even close to skydome.
but actual positive note it is very cool casual highalt flights even if pricey tickets still, so hooray! for humans all genders.

You've all heard about it - the all-female Origin flight crew that went up with 6 women for 11 minutes to the edge of space and then returned. Katy Perry, Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Kerrianne Flynn.
My rant ...
First of all, it wasn't a 'flight crew'. A crew are people who are on board and doing work and flying the machine. This was a flight with six PASSENGERS. They did nothing. And that's fine if they did nothing, because they were just tourists, just passengers. But don't call them 'crew'.
Second, the cabin had microphones and everyone on Earth heard everything the women said and did. Katy Perry, Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez screamed bloody murder all while the takeoff was taking place, and then screamed again during reentry and especially when the parachutes deployed.
Gayle King had done an interview before hand and did the usual 'this is important for women' kind of thing about this being an all female passenger manifest. (no it's not important for women, but of course this is what she was pushing). So with this being so important for women ... she and Katy Perry and Lauren Sanchez spent their time screaming like 10 year old girls going on Space Mountain in Disney World. I'm sure any real female astronauts who were watching were thinking ... what the hell?
It was EMBARRASSING for women. Man up ladies!
And third, the 11 minute ride cost $300,000 each. I"m sure none of them paid for it themselves. I'd bet a box of donuts on that one. I suppose it doesn't matter who pays for it .... but it's annoying that it costs that much money and someone has it to throw away on screaming ninny celebrities for an 11 minute joyride when the money could be used for so many other good things for people. I suppose if those women weren't such ninnies I wouldn't have minded as much.
There ... that's my rant. (and for those who don't know .. I"m a woman).
Honestly, attractive women thrusting into space (well, nearly) in a giant penis. Didn't they do this kind of stuff in Barbarella?

Of course, I don't look good in a spacesuit or in photos...
I wouldn't look good in their sleek blue suites either, but that doesn't mean that their 15 minute flight was worthless. I don't understand "disgrace to the gender". Who wouldn't want a chance at this opportunity? How were women maligned by these six women taking the flight and arriving back on Earth safely? Baby steps. I am proud of them all for being a part of the baby steps that might someday lead humanity to other planets.

I agree 100%
This was a "stunt' nothing more.
And the way it was hyped was ridiculous.

And now there are people saying the whole thing was faked. And yes, part of it was faked. Not the part where it went up to the edge of space, but the part where Bezos has to go to the door and pry it open with a special tool after it lands. The door was opened from the inside just fine and then the women quickly closed it so that the staged opening could take place.
And watch the door. Looks flimsy as hell.

Six women ... half of whom were baby dolled up with fake nails and had their hair all done up ... screamed all the way up, and screamed all the way back down. And they call themselves a 'crew' when they did nothing but sit there on a flying bus for an 11 minute overpriced ride. EMBARRASSING to women. MAN UP LADIES!

On a side note regarding Bezos. Last week we had a pickup at our tiny airport here. 7 women that flew in on a private jet. It came out in the middle of tour, that it was Bezos' plane and the women were a bunch of his groupies. Total self entitled bitches flying in via a billionaire on a private jet -- and they only tipped the tour guided $20 for 7 damn people.....
