Musk can try. And it isn't like a large portion of Americans haven't been clamoring for years for a new party. But more than a few problems this will have, because:
Independents haven't been able to really get their party off the ground with major support so history doesn't support a new party, at least not with any real power.
Musk might possibly suffer from more than Asperger's syndrome. I'm leaning towards a bit bipolar.
Musk who was crazy popular, deflated that love from the Left when he showed support for Trump.
Trump has barely gotten his plans off the ground and I believe people are more than willing to see how this plays out.
Because of the firm divide between the left and the right, it has created a firmer adhesion within each side. Which doesn't leave a lot of air for dissidence. But then there's the generational division which has the youth that seems more flexible in their naivety.
And that's where Mamdani comes in with a mix of Socialism, Communism, Capitalism and Muslim. A Shia Muslim specifically who identifies with the Twelver branch. Albeit the Shia's seem more tolerant than the Sunni sect, it's still Muslim. He's hell bent on destroying New York City. And if one is pushing socialism, why does he push for $30/hour wages?
Musk, another recent USA citizen, born in South Africa and holds citizenship in both America and Canada. And he wants to create the perfect party for America. Hmmmmm.
The timing isn't great for a new party. The foundation of America is still pretty strong.
This makes Musk seem even more buttsore. He misses all that adoration he got campaigning with Trump. Musk is good at what he does. Becoming a politician isn't one of his greatest ideas. He didn't unite the Conservatives; he was riding Trump's coattails. He just hasn't figured it out yet. It was all Trump. Musk was just window dressing.
