Does this help you
#1
"Does this help you understand yourself?"

A simple litmus test.

Apply it to politics, conspiracy rabbit holes, science, hobbies, videos people recommend.

Everything about this reality is constructed to distract you.

Keep the fundamental focus. Ask if it really matters, and to what end. Don't get lost in the circus.

Can I get lost inside my own 'tinnitus'?

! was loafing around on reddit and came across the r/spirituality. Some members seem to think some forms of 'tinnitus' may have 'spiritual/internal' meanings, there were interesting threads on this.
As far as the apple tree is concerned, there's probably not much difference between a worm and a human...

Do you subscribe to Elon Musk's theory that we do not live in 'base reality'?
I think he may be on to something with that.
Wish it could be proven.
Math is the language of the universe.
Proof is probably in the math somewhere.

I have tinnitus and exploding head syndrome.
Both are a pain in the neck.
I don't see anything spiritual about them.
They are glitches ... faults ... errors ... IMHO

I realized I had tinnitus 5 years ago. To be honest, it doesn't bother me at all, and that's coming from an anxious by default person. In my case, the intensity of the sounds depends on my state of consiousness. So when I'm in-between the dream state and the awake state for example, it gets really loud.

I have an 'Iiii' sound in both hears, and a second layer of their 'resonance' so to speak.

Well I will leave Mr Musk to play with his rockets, after all someone has to do it. As for his theories, they are nothing new, from what I've heard. A form of Gnostic dualism? That's not my jam. Currently I'm into avoiding the Gnostic heresy without devolving into atheistic materialism by what might be considered a form of panentheism, one that moves with continuous perceptual alignment with the divine. It's rough on the ego.

But you do you. Listen to the hummingbird, not me.

While I could believe Math or Logos as 'the langage of the universe', Math still has Godel's Incompleteness theorem to deal with first. It cannot fully proves itself with only itself. Or so I understand with my 'layman' knowledge of mathematics functions and axioms formulation.

Dunno'.   I just read that he thinks we don't live in 'base reality'.   I think it's like in gaming, which I don't do so I'm not 'up' on it.  But that we are levels away from reality (like layers of an onion from the center) and that what we experience isn't what is really going on.   Your comment about everything in this reality is just a distraction reminded me of that so I was wondering if you subscribed to it.

Sadly there is no understanding of one's self Ultra.

No understanding of what's outside one's self either lol.
