It's a work of fiction, which happens to contain a – hypothetical but valid – example of a reason why aliens might destroy us in the process of following some agenda of their own. The validity of the example has nothing to do with the plot of the story. Nor does the plot provide any justification for the belief that governments have been hiding the truth about UFOs from the public. There is no justification for the latter belief that I can see.

 Not a very useful reply to my post, I fear. Would you care to respond to the actual points I made?

I was responding to you not understanding a book you referenced and how it reletes to this "new" information release. 

The governments know more than they are lettig on but also don't know what they are dealing with. They are trying as hard as they can to not admit anything. They are throwing everything including the kitchen sink out to the public calling it new informatikn just to confuse the situation by letting everyons imagination run wild.

Why should that be a consideration for any hypothetical aliens pursuing their own interests in our solar system or nearby? Perhaps they'll want to turn Alpha Centauri into a supernova for some reason. Why would they concern themselves with us?
 

I really can't see where this is coming from. Why should they want our DNA? Would they even have DNA themselves? Would they even be made up of cells? Would they even have what we'd call a biology? 

Have you heard of von Neumann machines?
 

Have they? We have no evidence that they have ever been here at all.
 

You're assuming the long-term presence on Earth of aliens from outer space. I'm not, I'm afraid.

There are mysterious things in the sky. That's about all we know.

One of the biggest problems with truly alien life is just recognizing it. We would only understand things similar to what we know on Earth.

We could mistake them for machines, energy fields, globs of goo, they could be something we never imagined.

It is possoble they could be only precieved as a cold feeling of dread to certain sensitive people. Does that would familiar?

The most important thing we need to admit is we don't know what form any space, deminsional, or other aliens could be in. 

Some may die on both sides just in what is a friendly introduction. Chemical, electrical or cultural incompatability comes to mind.

Most humans want to smile when greeting. That caused the first Klingon war with the Federation in Star Trek. Klingon culture considered showing teeth as a sign of aggression. And that is from aliens that mostly look like us.

What we don't know can kill us and them. All we know for certain now is we don't know what is out there. And also our governments are not helping with our curiosity about this subject.

Yes! Exactly. Politicians do that all the time and yet most people don't realize it.

I can only report from my contact with the tall greys and they are here to help or rather save us and themselves through their hybrid programs. As for the other alien species which I have had no contact with, as far as I know, who knows?

Would one not assume if these numerous alien species have advanced technology and with evil intent, would have already taken what they wanted from us or our planet and/or destroyed us first to be able to get at resources or whatever so as to eliminate anything in their way?

They can’t because they cannot retain physicality for long periods of time.  They want what we have, physicality imo, this is why the hybrid, skin graphs, cells are taken to achieve this.

Good intentioned beings wouldn’t lie or deceive.  They can morph, cloak, to deceive.  

They take what they can!  Calling on Jesus stops them in their tracks.

It is written the fallen one is the prince of the air.  

God and his angels can perform sightings and miracles too!

I went missing once for 6 hours after seeing a 3-4 ft grey fly right up to my face.  Whatever happened after that scared me so bad, that I blocked it out of my memory for years.  It appeared to my friend/neighbor that an airplane had crashed, when we got to the location, there was no plane, no crash of any kind.   What did appear was a bipedal huge creature walking through the woods, a mechanical? Looking flying robot at the top of the trees thst came flying at us.  Then the grey.  6 hours later, we showed up back home in a rainstorm in our bicycles missing our sneakers.  

That shit isn’t our friend!

I’ve also seen orange orbs in my house, jetting stars, and a few other strange anomalies in the sky.

My interpretations on these are, the orbs are paranormal, most of the others are governmental special projects.

Interesting -- I am very strongly drawn toward the Tall Whites.  You don't hear about them much.

Yet -- I'm drawn to the desert.  I feel like I belong here.

If you ask any abductee or contactee involved in the hybrid program...well there is their reality and we only have that to explain what is going on. There could very well be other covert operations happening. It's a mystery, isn't it?

That's not my experiences with them, but there are many different them, so how can you know whether they are your friend or not if you don't talk to them to understand them?

I too have blocked memories because it is a difficult reality to acknowledge and accept, but I have managed to work through it over the last 40 years.

Greys are not huge creatures...do they have mechanical robots?...maybe.

Maybe that is why disclosure will be a slow drip.

As always - pet peeve of mine is thinking there is only one race of off planet beings.

I still see them as archeologists like humans.  Some are observers, some try minimal contact, some want to infiltrate, some want to study human anatomy, some want to study culture, some want to build an integrated race, and the list goes on.

And then there's politics -- always politics.  Some want to work with humans -- others want to conquer.

What benefits them?

The Terra Papers still make the most sense to me.
