A dream last night: In the middle of a confused scene (a group of us were chasing a cat that kept changing colors)


 

The physical reality of the phenomenon remains obvious (my latest field investigations: Soissons, Marley Woods), so is their ability at camouflage as airliners or geometric forms complete with a field of stars, when they don’t simply manifest as blue baseball-size lights. We know that. But what really defeats our attempts at rationality is the control of witnesses. Aimé Michel had tried to unravel it; if the phenomenon can set the circumstances of the observation, we have nothing to go on but elusive traces in the ground and the occasional metal residue. Even the humanoids could be a lure, clever manipulation. The extraterrestrial theory explains nothing.
Yet ‘somebody’ is doing this, with access to seemingly magical tools. What value do I bring? Should I stay in the game? I do have the hard data…How can I use it best?

We’ve had some arguments about crop circles (Eric doubts my hypothesis about a stealthy aerial device equipped with microwaves and lasers), but I’ve also heard the formations were the result of “an SAP consortium of British, French and US-AFOSI.”

Eric goes on: “Information is somehow manipulated to produce the manifestations that we observe during close encounters, and information appears to be more fundamental than spacetime. Quantum effects have been directly tied to information. So, advanced propulsion and other things could be tied to quantum effects.”
