I’ve been reading a lot of people history lately.

Especially women denied their rightful contributions.

Oh, throughout recorded history, barring a very few exceptions, women tend to get the raw deal in society.

I think that goes without saying, simply down to patriarchy predominantly being the colour of the day.

It is changing for the better all the same, or it was....

Men and women can never be equal because men are not the same as women.

I will never be equal to LeBron James because he is physically better than I am.  Doesn't make me worse than him, but we just aren't equal.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

I tend to agree.

Then again, people are not equal either.

But that doesn't mean we should not strive for at least some level of equality....

After all, we are both good at different things.  Saint2

Bolded and underlined, we're good at different things.

We're made to do different things.

It's literally comparing apples to oranges.

Yep. I’m 80-years-old. Def experienced my share.

Raised by a single disabled mother and a widowed grandmother.

My mom had to fight to refinance the house — cuz women couldn’t get credit without a man’s signature prior to 1974. That’s only 52 years ago.

We still need to treat women as equals.

That's how i was brought up, by a woman i may add(my gran).

Im sure you were taught something along similar lines.

Simply put, if any dude were to treat your daughter as less than, im sure they would have to answer to you...

Same here.

I was taught to treat women with respect.  Not as equals.

We are all a mixture of what makes a human — that includes whatever chemicals spin around in our brain telling us who we are.

If you watch Born Different — you’ll see all kinds of anomalies — not considered “normal”.

So what’s the big deal of brain wiring not consistent with the physical wrapping?

Why waste time on this?

If you have an issue — it’s your issue.

Just don't make your issue my responsibility.

Women can be respected and treated equally, DB.

After all, two things can be true at the same time...
