When you're a nail, it's apt.

I mean.

The other way is when someone disagrees with your POV, they’re automatically a nail.

To which my point about civil debate and the middle ground applies resoundingly.

I look at things through the lens of constitutionality, individual liberty, freedom, rights.

When someone is against those things, I should call them, what, a Barbie doll?

Problem here is this.

I will be honest, the hardest part is finding the line of removal. 

I tried to make the rule of thumb, "If it makes the person defend themselves to a personal attack or unfairly directed accusation" it gets removed.   

And you all witnessed in real time how fucking well trying to do that went... still gonna try though...

Still. Understanding that not everyone is working from your framework or life experience, political leaning, or interpretation of the law, you can afford some grace and empathy with someone or something that doesn’t align to a T with your views.

Not everything is back and white. Not much is really. A lot is perspective. Most things are.

Who can be the most opinionated with their opinion with the least amount of vitriol and baiting? 

Its a great time for EVERYONE to cool the temperature together.

So laws are in fact debatable and open to interpretation. And if you’re such a staunch right-leaning patriot, what do you say to the government goons that show up to folks doors for “a chat”? Does the subject matter? Think reeeallly hard now. Because the thing that some folks are dipping into hot water for talking about, you’re arguing are non-negotiable. Previously though it’s a topic with which you are fine deriding someone for. Ahem.

Ya'll call me right-leaning, but I've always been an Independent.

As for law enforcement?  Depends.  If they show up at my door for a chat about something I posted, I can guarantee that a democrat is in the White House.

Again, I am all for posting hate speech.

You can post 24/7 about how OMB and you can show on the doll where he touched you.

You can't support, plan, arrange, coordinate, encourage the killing of ANYONE.

I've saaid constantly, that owning  a drivers license does not give you the right to run someone over.

Neither does the 1st Amendment give you the right to plan or encourage the assassination of a president.

There is a responsibility to have Rights.  (capitalized on purpose) It's the reason we don't let 12-year-olds vote.
