Finally our musical tastes intersect. Regina Spektor is awesome. Even her kitsch is catchy:

I found her through Jenji Kohan, who is my favorite comedy writer in televevion. Her Sex and the City Episodes were great, her Gilmore Girls contributions were great, and Weeds, which feature several Regina Spektor songs throughout its run. Including the one you posted while they were selling Adderall to college kids as corrupt drug reps.

Her music choices are always that alternative underground college radio stuff. Which led to a lot of musical discovery, like a better Austrailian version of Amy Winehouse that doesn't die of withdrawal with two noteworthy songs written by her producer.

So, I was watching ‘Taken 3’ and this is the song at the end credits. 
Caught me up immediately. Never heard this song before and now I cannot seem to stop listening to it. And, the song has reawakened the yearn for good sounds.

Call it silly but almost any non-speed-metal from the Misfits (up to their original 1985 breakup) is simply quite a piece of work despite being about horror movies.  Play "Attitude" or "Return of the Fly."
