Complaints About DOGE Geniuses Ages
#1
Folks on the left are whining about the age of the people in DOGE who are uncovering billions in waste, fraud and abuse.   AGEISM.   They are brilliant young people.   Folks complaining about the young age of these people haven't looked at the ages of those involved in the American Revolution.   They weren't exactly all oldsters ...

When you are smart .. you are smart.
When you can do what you are called upon to do, then age doesn't matter.
Some folks are brilliant at age 22.  Some take until their 50s to be able to function well.
Some folks are still brilliant at age 80.   Some are cognitively declined at 60.

I think whining about the DOGE people being in their early 20s is silly.
They obviously can do the job.  And they have seasoned people supervising.
Good for them all.
make russia small again
Don't be a useful idiot.  Deny Ignorance.

I became a DOD Whistleblower when I was 31. I knew I could be toast and may never be employed again even at 31. I appeared on CNN to simply save my life as I survived one drive by that missed my head by 10". As a old guy today, then I had balls, fire and curiosity. Thats why they have these guys and they arent corrupted........ yet!

While there is probably a mediocre argument that the young might lack experience and familiarity with complex governmental systems, it is also true that they may not have had time to become cynical and corrupted by the bureaucracy, or compromised and controllable. Also, if the systems they're accessing don't have audit trails, they should. Focus on that.

How do you know they are "brilliant"?

Just landing a position anywhere doesn't mean they are brilliant. Certainly not in this current political environment.

Would they still be brilliant if they were not the correct political party?

Probably not.  This is the political world they have blanketed our government with.

People need to be ideologically aligned with the leaders they choose, no?... If the "party" is "choosing" them for you, you're stuck.
Remember... to them and many of our friends... it's the "side" that matters most.

For many of them - or if not all, most - They vow loyalty to "the party" before they are "allowed" to "serve"...

Worried about who is looking at the books when our longtime Senators and Congresspersons dont know the law

If it's good enough for you it's good enough for me.

I'll try to do better vetting my posts and try and suspend posting after midnight....

Quote:As the Facebook post points out, the Constitution includes a clause in Article 1 that says "no money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law, and a regular statement and account of the receipts and expenditures of all public money shall be published from time to time."
A Warren spokesperson told PolitiFact the quote attributed to the senator is fake.

Smart and wise are 2 different things. I have known plenty of college educated and super smart people who wouldn't know their ass from a hole in the ground, and plenty of high school dropouts who are low IQ but have very successful jobs and would probably run circles around most of us. Wisdom comes with experience, experience comes with age. Lack of either typically leads to a lack of foresight. Since Musk is basically a kid with affluenza in an adult body, there are no adults in the room where during the signing of the constitution, there was a good mix of smart AND experienced people, old and young alike.

Yea I always deny when I screw up and make myself look like an idiot too. Do the fact checkers even try anymore...we all know they haven't in ages. Their source to debunk the claim is the spokes person...not even her...denied their boss said the obviously wrong statement. Because that's super trust worthy...and when the government investigates itself it actually tries to see if it was wrong...
