I truly love dogs and also read history - came across this interesting video which is the point of the thread.
God knows what bullshit they're programming kids with these days but when it comes to the utterly racist 'critical race theory' I did read this new report:
New Rule: Loving Your Dog is Racist, According to the Left
Love your dog and don't swallow anything from these (well financed) race baiting grifters lol.

I'll give them a listen with this in mind as them being disruptors...
"Unlike most music-formatted morning shows, The “Walton & Johnson Show” has no problem talking about politics. They are pretty indicative of the area in which the show airs (The South). But no matter your politics, if you have a good sense of humor, you can tolerate their right-wing, conservative, “unique perspective” on things. They are truly unfiltered, a strategy which continues to make them #1 with adult men on all of their affiliates and has kept them alive and relevant for all these years."

Just remember, if you are part of the looney left, everything is and/or can be racist, you just have to believe hard enough.
2+2=4 is racist, someone being a straight white male is racist, voter ID is racist, (as someone who never owned slaves) not wanting to pay reparations (to someone who was never a slave) makes you racist, etc.
The only thing that is not racist, is saying that white people are the only people who are and/or can be racist.......

Would you call a shelter Director a race baiting grifter too?
" Shelter director Kristen Hassen opines that Guenther “gets it right” in concluding that “racism, classism and the caste system are at the heart of the broken animal sheltering institution.” Arguing that laws to prevent mistreatment of dogs discriminate against “anyone in the US other than white, middle class and upper-class individuals,” Sloane Hawes, Tess Hupe and Kevin Morris of the University of Denver Institute for Human-Animal Connection cite the book in their proposal to relax enforcement of animal protection laws—a proposal that threatens to reverse decades of hard-won progress."
---------
Sure, love your dog but remember right-wing sources like this are trying to push a narrative.

So, you think mistreating animals is ok and they should relax the laws because it's racist.
Do you really wonder why people call the Left evil ?

Going a little deeper...because there is always another side to the coin.
" Animal Law Enforcement
- Do animal control agencies engage equitably with the jurisdictions they serve? IHAC is conducting research using data provided by large municipal animal control agencies to understand enforcement patterns and trends across jurisdictions. Our findings show that animal laws and ordinances are not only enforced at higher rates in historically marginalized communities, but also members of those communities experience more punitive outcomes. Further, a community’s racial and ethnic makeup was found to be the strongest driver behind the measured differences. This research is contributing to the conversation about how animal welfare agencies of all types can better engage with under resourced and historically marginalized communities. "
