Changes within a thread

Good day all!

I recently went back into Maxmar’s thread entitled “I said Shit…” and I noticed that the f-word has been changed to ****, or something along those lines. Yes I even used it while relating a story within the thread…

I haven’t seen anything regarding the usage of that specific word, and I don’t necessarily have a problem with censoring it, I’m just wondering if it’s now a thing.

As the thread was in fact about swearing and that particular word was used extensively by quite a few posters I wonder if we hit a threshold of decency?

Well. This is obviously a use of the word safe that I was previously unaware of. 

Safe from what exactly? Unlike rocks, words should not do any real damage at least in normal discussions.
