California went from surplus to deficit in their 300 + billion budget in only 3 years, then they went on a spree of budgets cuts that completely decimated their emergency responses in the state.
Somebody have to be accountable for this failure.
Maybe this is the reason insurers decided to drop their policies in high risk areas of the state where natural disasters could become a problem, who knows.
