What with everything these fire victims have to endure from their losses, they also have to endure insurance company abandonment and 'guess what? you weren't really insured for what you thought you were insured for" realities.

Some insurance policies also have a timeline where a homeowner needs to rebuild and does not account for the fact that there will be another 1,000 or more people also needing to rebuild in the same location using up all the building resources.

My heart goes out to the victims of this tragedy.

But my heart is raised watching good people come together to provide assistance to the fire survivors.
