Ok, two issues:
1. New leak comes out.
2. WSJ releases very coincidentally timed article at the shortly thereafter.
Coincidental timing or cover up. Synchronicity?
here is the leak, links in the Twitter post, I don’t want to click them: Twitter
here is the WSJ article, it’s paywalled so I can’t see it. Any internet magician able to link a back up, or archival link we can all see?

Quote:Pentagon contractors had plans to deploy "aggressive" UFO propaganda across America, utilizing mainstream media journalists to promote their "agenda". This 2009 propaganda plan, named "Project Forum", was outlined inside a 530-page document that "leaked" earlier today. ⁽¹⁾ Backstory: In 2008, the Defense Intelligence Agency created a $22M program called AAWSAP and contracted Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) to execute the program objectives. ⁽²⁾ In 2009, BAASS supposedly created a "10-month report", summing up their progress. It outlines their UFO investigations around the world and paranormal ghost hunts at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. It also outlines several "Projects" they hoped to achieve.
One of those projects, "Project Forum" wanted to launch a massive nationwide propaganda campaign to convince US citizens that UFOs and aliens were real. BAASS proposed approaching, grooming and even HIRING "journalists" within the mainstream media to "promote the BAASS agenda". They planned to begin the propaganda campaign by targeting California. But the Pentagon claims all of this was unsanctioned, and done by rogue officials doing their own thing without permission. On page 23 of a 2024 report ⁽³⁾, the Pentagon briefly mentions (admits?) this proposed propaganda effort but states, "DIA did not seek, nor specifically authorize, this work". It's inferred that, while proposed, it never actually happened. The Pentagon claims they pulled BAASS / AAWSAP's funding in 2010, ending it in 2012. Sources:

The Pentagon Disinformation That Fueled America’s UFO Mythology
Quote:U.S. military fabricated evidence of alien technology and allowed rumors to fester to cover up real secret-weapons programs
A tiny Pentagon office had spent months investigating conspiracy theories about secret Washington UFO programs when it uncovered a shocking truth: At least one of those theories had been fueled by the Pentagon itself.
