This has absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 terror attacks. They are two separate incidents and the only thing even remotely "connecting" them would be that they both involved planes crashing into building(s) in NYC.

I think the point is that for a long time, the plane "script" was in the air (pun intended) which is highly on topic.

The military exercise are telling as well.

Without further info, I'll go with MIHOP based on how agencies usually do this kind of business.

LIHOP let it happen on purpose entails some groups planned it and executed it while other groups let it happen.

Certain board members posts to the initially verbose and huffing contrary , it is obvious that CIA infiltrated not just news offices but entertainment or as i like, propatainment offices a long time ago.  Do we all just willfully forget projects like Mockingbird and suddenly trust the gov when it says 'oh that was shut down' ?

This theory is right up there with the idea that Donald Trump named his kid "Baron" because of a book in the family library that he read as a kid, given to his father as a gag-gift:

Not really, we are talking about a plane 4 times smaller than the planes that hit the WTC, traveling at much slower speeds, lower loss of life, and the biggest difference, a deliberate attack and an accident that happened years before planes had active radar in them. 

As stated, the only similarity is that both instances had planes hitting buildings in NYC. That is where the similarities end.

Now that's 'meta'.  It's actually not an episode of the X-Files by the way , as an uber x-phile, it is actually an episode from the Lone Gunmen.  
I used to think the show was kind of bad, but now that I am older and see the lack of writing skill in a lot of new shows, I have to rewatch it....
