ARIA claims that even with putting aggressive measures in place, it may still be too late. They also state that the risks of doing nothing outweigh the risks of doing something.

Climate change goes in cycles and is natural.  Human life and plant and animal life have lived with warmer temperatures and higher carbon in the atmosphere at various times in geological history.  Don't forget plants adore carbon dioxide. 
Human beings are pushing things along but we are not by any shape way or form the cause of the natural trends. We are merely pushing a naturally occurring wave. 
The hubris to not only put us at the centre of the universe for this, in order to provide some flimsy mental foundation for this con game, but to also think we can solve or change such a huge 'wave' with our puny technology is pure madness.  
I can't believe this is even being discussed let alone planned.
