So was the statement about there being no file a total lie?? If so, surely that's a crime being committed right there before anyone even sees the Epstein file?

Also, what was the point in parading influencers in front of journalists with the Epstein binders if it was all fake?

I think they’ve just had a bunch of miscalculations. Like, just don’t say anything about it for the rest of your term. Say you have more important things to work on (even though draining the swamp is arguably what got him elected the first time, and he’s oddly silent this time about that phrase).

But they doubled down and tried to say there was nothing there, case closed. It’s one of the very few issues the devoted side of the base really pushed back on (the responses to his truth post are pretty brutal).

Now as you said, the files do exist but were manufactured by the left… Even though his admin checked in all the evidence.

One thing is for certain now, the admin has been lying and changing their story around this. If they can lie about something like this, they can lie about anything.

And given how Trump has projected how he thinks political opponent presidents in the past would deal with worsening poll numbers or upcoming elections, I’m interested to see if he takes a page out of the same book, and uses foreign policy as a distraction.

Unfortunately, I think the electorate is that gullible. I've been impressed with the pressure people have kept so far, but let's he honest, it's only been a week.

There's a lot more that is going to happen in the next year, and this will likely get memory holed. There will be some mention of it, but it will just get shut down. Ironically, the people who will laugh at people bringing it up then will be the same ones who talked about this case for years only to pull a 180. If the right loses on midterms or next presidential election, I think it will be more economy/tariff driven than having to do with the cover up.

One of the glaring problems we've had is hyperpolarization. People truly believe that their side is the lesser of two evils, and their opponent would bring literal destruction to the country. The reality is, both sides bring a slow destruction by constantly mortgaging the debt to the future generation. Kick the can down the road, give a few of your buddies some short term prosperity that we have to pay back later. The idea is there will be growth and hopefully we can pay it off. But western populations are retracting, not growing, which will be a huge issue.

This was probably the only opportunity anyone had in "draining the swamp", more so than exposing any other cover up. But we see this admin is falling into line with the uniparty on this one. They've covered up for more people with this one action than they've "drained" in 5 years. It's business as usual.

There is another scenario that might explain this sudden "flip flop" of passion for the truth.

They scoured the data and found no way to limit the damage to only opposition players... which is how party "justice" works.

OR

They discovered that giant burlap sack full of political wildfire... has been peppered with too much extraneous provable bullshit... or pre-poisoned with hyperbolic slander, and engineered evidence... or full of prejudiced content from tainted sources... You know this is their primary game... people with control of 'policy' decision in justice.  They will never prosecute themselves... but what's worse is that they apparently will never allow ANY justice the party doesn't approve of.
 
The evidence well has been poisoned, the sources prepped, the good stuff encased inside garbage...

Citizens apparently have no real representatives within law enforcement leadership...

There is no two-tiered system of justice... it's just that "justice" is never applied where they don't want applied.  They have many excuses why ... but in the end, follow the abuse, crime, graft and grift...

Bongino was such a huge force fighting for transparency with Epstein.  He spent a long time talking about the 'suicide' and the list.   Now he's flipped?   Other reports say that he's pissed at Bondi and Trump over this and is expected to resign his office in protest.    THAT sounds like Bongino ... saying he'd resign in protest.   I am having such a hard time seeing him as a weenie covering up Epstein.   But apparently he just might be.

They've proven to be influencers who just want to remain relevant and collect a check.

They're willing to protect donors and party members than actually seek justice.
