I have never believed the claims of lost or confused evidence.

Legal evidence is journalized...

It is described, catalogued, stored and protected from tampering or loss...
the logs are logged... the evidence may as well be on fire... tampering with it will get you burned.

Evidence almost never simply "lost," or "suddenly disappears" and there is not a soul
within the evidentiary chain that can't immediately prove... "I didn't see this" or  "this came from somewhere else."

In order to pull a con of this scale off.... you have to think of conspiracies along the lines of "The Sting," with hundreds of well-trained and coordinated participants... not happening outside a Hollywood production... too much can go wrong too easily.

This is blunt force crime... CT thinking about the actual source of this whole enterprise... not just her customers and disposable prey...  Otherwise I might get lost in the personalty cults and group hate signaling.
