Bondi Crime Scene
#1
So the Bondi area was opened back up to the public today. I happened to be in Sydney and decided to head down to absorb the reality of what's happened.

Walking toward the beach past the cafes and shops, it was like any typical summer's day, maybe 85% of normal foot traffic kind of levels. Cafe's full of people, prams, dogs and... influencers! yuck!!

I definitely saw more Kippah's than usual. Approaching the beach, surfers were out, lots of sunbathing.

I started at the opposite end of the beach to the incident, so walking towards the bridge and field I had to pass the flower memorial that's popped up.

There were pockets of police around, but none of them really seemed concerned or on alert. Chatty, smiling and a lot of chatting with us peasants walking around.

Walking towards the bridge, I was surprised how open and accessible it all was. No areas were off limit, no police tape was up. Lots of TV camera's around.

I passed the location where the car was found with the ISIS flags and bomb, only realizing late that this is where the first 2 hero's were killed. An elderly couple saw the men get out of the car and wrestled them for their guns, dying in the process.

Walking up the steps to the bridge, I expectde to see some sign, of something.

Blood stains in the very porous and old cement or chips and knicks in the concrete from the rounds that were fired at them.

Nothing at all I could find. Now, I'm sure there's bullet holes on the bridge I didn't see  - but I atleast expected to see some in the big broad parts of the bridge...

but, none!

Hanging around the bridge for a while I remembered footage of people who were at the bridge when the first shots sounded. They ran under the bridge.. The fear they must have felt while they hid under the bridge is chilling..

There's not much room under there, i wonder how long they crouched into the corner listening to the shots being fired one after the other.

After crossing the bridge, I wanted to see where the 'peak-dad' detective got them both with his sidearm at 40m

Pretty good shot, between the tree' branches, shooting up at a slight angle with the moving target in half cover with the cement wall.

Again, I was looking for evidence of a firefight.. but I didn't see any, no nicks, no chips, no dents. Looking at the footage the terrorist fired at the detective multiple times. I walked back further to the building in direct line of fire and couldn't see anything on the walls. I wanted to find something, but still nadda.

Off to Archer Park where the festival was taking place.

The bridge over looks the park, its on a tighter angle that I expected. And there's a tree on the left-hand side of the site window. I initially though it was more open and frontal.

I was looking for a particular park bench that featured in 2 of the raw footage releases. That's where I managed to find the first actual evidence of a firefight.

A white SUV parked up on the grass, a single dent, not a hole.

Time to turn around and see what they saw

Now, with the recent revelations that this man had an Indian passport and travelled into the Phillipines, why on earth would anyone think having a gazebo with a indian / australian tilt on Turbans, is a good idea?

What the actual F*#($@!
