Two guys driving down a country road,they see a creature that  looks like a ten foot tall Orangutan . When it seems to observe them, its height collapses it turns into a fuzzy orange ball levitates turns into a sun-colored cube and shoots upward and disappears. leaving an eerie sense of quiet as the observers look for any traces. There were none not even a broken cobweb over the bushes it shot over. It sounds more like some sort of technology than a paranormal encounter but one would never know. But it begs the question of " are humans the top of the Foodchain?"  Or is there another advanced self-aware creature who has sharp survival skills which we do not have much of a clue about. Humans are often considered at the top of the food chain due to our intelligence, technology, and ability to control our environment.

And while we dominate in terms of influence, the concept of the food chain is somewhat more nuanced.

We're not truly "above" nature, but rather, we're a unique part of it, with significant power to alter it.

Maybe the likes of Sasquatch simply do so in another manner?

Then again given the proximity and reports, one would imagine we would have found a body, faeces, or at least credible DNA evidence to suggest they exist.

Great thread mate and some truly bizarre antics described there - really do get the feeling these guys are not making it up.

Certainly not the first incredibly strange cryptid account and global reports do sound strangely consistent - here's Steve Isdahl on the subject:

I’ve seen this and absolutely love this story. These two (carpenters, contractors?) are completely believable in their approach. Quite the fantastic encounter. To say the event had a profound impact on their life (that they even describe) is a big understatement. I’ve never even heard of anything approaching this other than maybe one other BF story (Ohio?) where a lady tried to take a photo of an orange glowing globe in the woods behind a high school field replete with a band practicing, in the woods. And the camera only shows what looks like a patch of fur up close. The “Samurai Chatter” in the Sierras is another remarkable account. Or maybe Lea Stroud’s BFRO first-hand account during his interview whereas he was escorted to where they are suspected of being and during the interviews states that through “mindspeak” was hailed by two beings across the valley and he just couldn’t deal with the gravity at the time of what was occurring.

Was just thinking about it the other day in relation to another thread about MIBs and relations to cryptids. And another YT about a Bigfoot family in the MidWest that is hand-drawn in black and white by the person involved after years of locking it away from memory. There at the culmination of a story that is drawn out over weeks of his encounters, MIB show up along with other gov’t and military in a standoff that is also pretty incredible.

But yeah this encounter is unique in BF lore. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if there is something in the case of if you are looking for something you will find it, UFO's Ghosts, paranormal experience, or even more mundane things like shopping for something a bit out of the ordinary. Something in the line of conscious intent shaping a future event. Obviously something more could be involved  which is required ,time energy etc plus the present Paradigms and fashions of our age and culture. The creations of Tulpas comes to mind, or gods and saints  religious experiences etc. When all is said and done reality is an interpretation on a very subjective level done in your own head or at least it looks like that untill two independent people see the same thing. Then it might be that reality is constructed in our head.?

Ha nice one mate and that case is truly bonkers - also a great video by Bob Gymlan.

Stan Gordon and his research team investigated the Union town case and were on scene shortly after it happened - doesn't get talked about much but the main witness appeared to become 'possessed' and his own dog attacked him (see 6:45).

There are some other freaky anomalous cryptid UFO incidents discussed in this interview with Stan and it really makes one wonder WTF is going on.
