Hopefully you are able to recognize when you are not in a debate. In a fight insults are an age old tradition and a prelude. Insults are an effective tool in many scenarios, maybe have a debate on that.

The manner of rhetoric is set by the authorities and yes, like it or not President Trump is the authority at this moment in time and he flings insults all the time to great effect. It will filter down.

I'm called all manner off things everyday, asshole isn't that much of an insult. Crazy, weird, schizophrenic, liar, satanist, christian. Even an Arab once, just random racism in there. By far the worst label one can get is that of Christian. 

That brings me to a matter of point. How I got the label of 'Arab' was that I was explaining to some that half the people where I live are Muslim and they are just ordinary folk, there were two Muslim girls sitting right next to me as I typed it. I have many Muslim friends and we all get along and respect each others traditions. This was just before the current war with Iran started (we still get along)

Now I see other people doing the same, promoting inclusivity but then turn to utter hypocrisy a day later and attack Christians.

I mostly hang out in the UFO communities and I see it allot. The most cockamamie shit ever would be put forward as a theory to loud cheers but mention Enoch and holy shit are you the scum of the earth and ******* too boot. Mention anything Christian and immediately you are attacked but everything else goes. That's not very inclusive.

I totally get this.


I am Catholic.  Having worked in customer service for over 30
years I’ve been called everything in the book.  Pretty much nothing bothers me anymore.  

Although, I did have some crazy dude taking sh/t about Jesus over a month ago, and I completely walked away and wouldn’t give him a second after that.

Like you, I have many neighbors and coworkers who are from Iran, Syria and I have Muslim friends outside of work.  I respect and care about all of them.  The ones I know have good work ethic, and are kind.  They are honorable and good to their families.

When my Syrian friend told me years ago) that Muslims are not allowed to use nuclear weapons I was floored.  My eyes were opened then.   I’m not saying there may not be factions of evil doers out there.  Oct 7th was horrific.  Just saying people shouldn’t be judged because they belong to a religion or culture not of  your own, and there are many innocent people out there being ruled by maniacs at the moment.

I so want Peace!


Just remember when dealing with the nasties; there is alot of mental illness and drunkards out there.
