Did I write something like that?
I don't want to describe her now. Some may call her a DEI hire.
If you think she was insulting me by calling me those things, well she wasn't. Somewhere in the back story I told her those things. The exclamation marks only showed that she was stressed, playing the game, to keep her job. She has mouths at home to feed.
Now I feel ashamed for making the jab at her.
There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people. - Commander William Adama

Because Brennan and all the other CIA chiefs since its inception likely broke their oath...
Let's ask Grok what the wording of the oath the CIA Director takes is when being sworn in...
Oh yeah, likely in the first sentence
But you can omit the "so help me god" part. And that's the type of stuff that will become more an issue the more blatant religious overtones are pushed.
If someone makes a fuss and wants to take a prideful Lucifer stand against saying some words, they legally can. I have never cared enough, but some people don't have it in them.
Some just cant do it. I have an combative antitheist friend that has omitted that phrase in both their service oath and in court. It's not compulsory, and if they question it, you can use the 1st Amendment.

I see your point, I was thinking using "so help me God" is atleast marginally less blasphemous while placing your hand on the Constitution than any books of the Bible...
In my experience of working with various nationalities and denominations, the less religious talk the better.
Speaking of Books of the Bible
Naively bringing up the Book of Enoch in a mixed situation is a hoot, and watch how fast some people can work when they get pissed off.
What do I know? I learned early on not to bring up politics or religion at work. Ive always considered religion a private, personal matter

You do bring up some good points. Much like the deciples of Apple, PC, and Android sometimes go at details of each other's choices and beliefs, most can get along together. The purests are the problem.
"Only our system is the best because we say so."
No one said there was not the possibility for arguments and other problems, just it is now legally allowed. I think at least in the work spaces, the wise ones will refrain from attempting to force their beliefs on others. Those less wise have always been a problem.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

Hell, in some spaces, the Mac vs PC vs Linux is even more contentious than religion... I love my Mac; if I were on a budget, it's Linux. BUT for most of my work settings, if I had an unlimited budget, and it was my responsibility, I'd get Macs for everybody, easily. The PCs have more downtime #1 and #2, the Macs are just easier to work with, troubleshoot, and integrate in my past work environments. With TeamViewer, most Mac issues can be solved remotely, even for a self-trained novice
It might have changed in the last 5 years, though.
We still had a Mac from 2008 at one of our workstations last time I was there. Last I heard, they are still using it, while the other 4 workstations have gone through 3-4 different PCs and a ton of upgrades.
I still use my 2014 Mac all the time for work-related projects, it's just from home

Atheists debating religion is like getting a lecture on smoking a brisket by a vegan.
