Apparent kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie
#51
According to Fox News, the FBI has stated the following.

They have increased the reward to $100,000.

They found a glove in the house.

They found DNA inside the house.

The glove was sent to a lab in Florida instead of to the FBI lab in Quantico. The sheriff insisted they do that because he is still in charge of the investigation.

The sheriff's office might have found the glove early on in the investigation and they slow walked it to the lab on Florida.

The sheriff seems to be doing strange things.

Edit: Apparently they have found three gloves. Two outside the house at other locations and one in the house. They do not know yet whose glove it is that was found inside the house. That one could have been form the victim for cleaning.

They are also discussing some of the problems with the turf war between the sheriff and the FBI. It is likely slowing down the investigation and possibly using up any DNA evidence before the FBI can test it.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

What is strange is they think there is another person involved according to pictures released by FBI.

By Fox News, the sheriff's portable command, bomb squad and  SWAT units have been out in the field for hours. This has only occured when they detained the first guy that they released shortly afterwards.

The sheriff himself states there has been only one glove found two miles from the kidnapping house. There has been DNA found in that house that is not of anyone of the family or other people that had been authorized to be in that house. He also says the reports of friction with the FBI are false.

Edit: Fox News is still saying the sheriff is not cooperating with the FBI according to the FBI.

Something is definitely off between the conflicting stories.

I think what we are seeing is just thin shadows from the balaclava.

Nice moustache though!

Looks like a coloured man with an "Eddie Murphy" to me.

Reading comments left on other sites about this.
People on X and Reddit are saying the medical examiner is at the house.
This is allegedly being reported by neighbors.
I don't know if that's true or not.
I would think that the TV News people would have seen the M.E. van.
But if true ... that means a body is there.

Maybe a message to the media to back off?
Something certainly smells

Fox was reporting about an hour ago that the FBI is requesting that the local Tuscon police and county sheriff’s departments not release anymore details to the press at this time.

I saw some comments about that too. Im not sure what the odd looking white van was, maybe a coroner?  When they were live streaming the officers searching the back of the Ranger Rover I was looking at their faces while they were holding up the yellow tarp.  I didn’t notice any looks of surprise or disgust due a bad odor.  Once they removed the tarp, there was a side shot of the hatch door down and it looked like some kind of luggage or duffel bags sitting on it.
