Animals In The Afterlife…
#1
I just got back from a trip to Traverse City Michigan. I went to the cherry festival, the sand dunes  and apparently I found an animal house.

On my way back home before my 5 hour ride I wanted to pick strawberries. I ended up at the wrong place. Inside this place I found  animals. I talked to the owner and he does all this work himself. I kind of felt icky when I left.

Did you happen to say...

???

Not that I'm trying to impose my view of hunting animals simply for a diverse collection of taxidermy, but... I am compelled to some snark.

But i wonder if, are we actually an Alien Zoo? Is it paranoid to think higher lifeforms wouldn't feel too bad about using an entire planet as a tourist trap?

"Come see the insane monkey people fight each other endlessly! Guided tours available."

Even more so, I wonder if there is such thing as illicit hominid hunting, and there are people stuffed somewhere in an aliens living room?

The owner told me that all of the animals were found dead and brought in by people.

He told me he had a secret room of aliens but I could not visit!  Lol

Great pictures.  It would have been cool to see them displayed, but I agree it felt a bit icky/eerie to me as well looking at them.

Was the festival for sweet or sour cherries?  Sweet are great eating.  Sour make great pies.

I wish he really had some aliens  Lol

I went to the pick cherry farm. They had hundreds of trees. I could not believe it. I picked tart and tried one and spit the pit and everything else. lol.

I picked 2 pounds of the sweet. The price was only $2.50 per pound. At the store they sell Washington State Cherrys. $8.99 per pound. In Traverse City! The cherry capital!

I did not post the rest of the animal photos. He had some odd animals. Even Mountain Cats.

The Bear was super soft. He was friendly too. He did not even try to attack.

The fox was softer.

The smell was way strange!

Yes, the candy store was amazing. I only bought a bacon soda. Yuck.

Thank you!

I was pulled over by a State Trouper. Guess why. I was going 4 mph over the speed limit on the freeway. He gave me a ticket.

I enjoyed the art at first, I can still feel the death. The smell of the place was way off.

The owner told me his grandfather started the business and it was handed to him. He told me it’s art for him.

He had 100’s of animals. Even from Africa. I would not want my dog stuffed and put on a shelf. Yuck!
