Alan Parsons Project

Hey there Ladies & Losers, your old pal Alroy here. Mesa back!

Before I went AWOL I had just plunked down several large big ones to buy the most advanced AI hearing aids available to plebs like me. So mostly I've just been working to make payments on those and focus on getting my sheeet together. Well at least the payments are on time!

They're great. Worth every penny and I've been having a lot of fun enjoying some things with them.

Been to a few concerts since and the difference is very noticable. Everything is so much crisper, clearer, cleaner and I get some bonus rolls towards my frequency range.

However, I'm really geared up for APP this summer. I may have told the story a few times about when I first saw the show and had an impromtu meeting with Mr. Parsons himself.

Anyways flub all that! Let's just debate which album is the best or share any good old memories of the music.

I absolutely love it when something just works well...

I would say congratulations, but it kind of misses the mark...

you're enjoying something more than just a thing.

I pray that things just keep getting better for you...

I am an old fan... and I still listen to their music today.

They're one of the few bands I try recommending to anyone regardless of their tastes.

Robot sounds a little dated with its funk. Vulture and onword have some 80's veneer.

But but there's a timelessness to a lot of the tracks I feel.

And D'oh! I guess there's a new album out since '22???

Did you ever get to listen to Sicilian Defense? AKA the joke album to extend deadlines? And I've also never found a copy of Freudiana.

That's an all-time top 5 album for me and I live in a gambling town so it has many layers of personal meaning.
