Qatar to build air force facility in Idaho, US says

What a wonderful idea ! The Saudi's have been flying 15's for several years now so we might as well help Qatar get trained up and purchase a few newer aircraft for themselves as their current fleet of F-15s are of the 1986 F-15QA models. 

We can all forget the times in the past they were a state sponsor of terrorism along with others we are now best buds with..... Can anyone else spell  “Allahu akbar!”

The US has finalised an agreement that will allow Qatar to build an air force facility in Idaho, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced.
He said the facility - where pilots from the Gulf state would be trained to fly F-15 fighter jets - would be established at the Mountain Home Airbase in the north-western US state.
"It's just another example of our partnership," Hegseth said during a meeting with his Qatari counterpart, Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, at the Pentagon on Friday.
Hegseth also praised Qatar for playing a "substantial role" in efforts led by President Donald Trump to secure a Gaza ceasefire and hostage return deal.
Qatar - along with Egypt and Turkey - has been an active mediator during months of indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

Ugh, this crap is still going around? They’re being given a few buildings on Mountain Home, which is already holds the RSAF in addition to the USAF squadrons. This is no different than the dozen or so countries that have been quasi friendly that trained here.

Why? It wouldn’t do any good. The media doesn’t care. But the ACTUAL AGREEMENT is that they will be based at Mountain Home. Hegseth made an idiot statement that they were getting a base, and the media freaked the hell out and ignored the later clarification. They’ll build their own hangars, and probably living quarters on the base, but it’s not an independent facility.

Frankly, the BBC is one of Europe's most ardent manufacturers and propagators of "state" media.

Always affirming the antics of "America" as spectacle and an affirmation of the folly of ignorant colonists...
every American a brutish bully, and overbearing ignoramus. or an obtuse irritant.  They, among so many other publishers of note, maintain the stream of 'thought-pabulum' keeping Americans and their brothers and sisters elsewhere from ever feeling WARM kinship.

Qatar's is just ONE such 'arrangement' made between nations of the world... and it's a tame one.

And the media seems to slather them all in terms of "threat and fear."

Everywhere the religion of peace goes they want to convert all to their religious Sunni or Shia style government. Reminds me of the Spanish a few hundred years ago or the Catholics ... Main difference is they 'behead' non believers instead of burn at the stake which in truth is probably more merciful ??

A few billion dollars towards brain washing students and buying support of Admin and professor's goes along way... Some of this stuff reminds me of Nikita when he said we/America would sell Russia the rope they will use to hang us with.

Historically your country and Qatar have been allies for a very long time and the US has a military base in Qatar.
