A contracted King Air flying an ISR mission in the Philippines has crashed, killing one service member and 3 DoD contractors. The aircraft was flying as part of a Philippine security mission over the province of Maguindanao del Sur at the request of the Philippine government at the time of the crash. Witnesses on the ground reported seeing fire and hearing an explosion before the crash.
