Some updates on AI data centers I came across today without searching for them.
A large percentage of people don't like them for obvious reasons. Many locations are looking into blocking them if not already blocking them.

One was voted out locally in Michigan but it looks to be going forward anyway. Many locals are mad about this development.

It looks like AI data centers are causing a shortage of glass fiber cables. The price for those cables is going up just like the memory and graphics cards did. Watch for services that use these cables to raise their prices soon.
