I really didn’t know what forum AI Jesus should be placed?

I just found out there is an AI Jesus you can chat with. And I guess there is more than one AI Jesus?

Stuff like this frightens me. If you start doing a bit of research, children are already increasingly becoming dependent on AI for how they learn and create.

Any way. If you believe in Jesus or not. The last thing we need is people dependent on AI that might end up thinking it’s Jesus and start doing things for our own good.

For the more biblical minded, Jesus AI screams Antichrist.

The other frightening thing I heard in commentary, I wish I could find it again. Just heard it on one of my more popular talking head broadcast radio shows. The new “think of the children” is think of the AI. The context is shifting government funds increasingly to AI development. Have to keep developing AI for the common good.

I had a crazy professor in the 1990’s that thought robots were the next step in evolution. I’m thinking he might be right. Sad if we make ourselves obsolete.

I thought no way when I heard it on the radio. Then googled Chat with AI Jesus. I’m not sure which one the radio was talking about.

From a Christian perspective it amounts to idolatry.

Not just that. A lot of non believers, act as if AI is god. I personally hate AI and I think it out ranks some of the worst inventions the human race has come up with. Including cellphones, social media, and meth.

Have you considered that we would not be able to communicate in the manner we now are without the likes of cell phones, social media, or at least the underlying technologies?

They are simply tools.

It's the purpose to which they are set which donates benevolence or malevolence.

Yeah tools to control people. All 3 things I listed take away your ability to think rationally. All 3 take away from your freedom of choice, and you really have no clue that it is doing it. Until you get away from it.

You wanna piss someone off. Tell them meth, social media, or their cell phone is influencing them, and they are not even aware of it.

They call them social media influencers for a reason. Big tech isn't spying on you so they know which pair of shoes to show you in a ad.

Facebook proudly admitted, they were able to influence people to vote, simply by adding a badge to their picture. While voting is a good thing, people always corrupt what was intended as a good thing.

And AI is poor tool, it is often wrong. But it is being billed as the best thing since Jesus, if there was a Jesus. That is corrupt/evil. Since you are deliberately misleading people into believing a lie. A whole generation of people are dependent on it. And a lot of older idiots dependent on it as well.

Then we have the people pushing it. Doing this kind of stuff.

I don't necessary disagree with some of the things your suggesting.

Still necessary evils in todays world and tools that we both use.

The scarry part is when you have a conversation with your Mrs about something.

And the next thing you know, we have adds pertaining to the topic all over the place.

Guess you have never met a meth user. Meth takes complete control of a persons life. All that matters is meth, F your friends, F your family, cheat, lie steal from anyone and everyone. I forgot to add sell your body too. What ever it takes to get that next hit.

I like listening to 1930’s and 1940’s big band music. It’s amazing how many musical geniuses came from that era. From actual musicians to music arrangers that could turn mediocre compositions to genius.

Now you have people that think they are a musical god because they can play the video game Guitar Hero.

Seems people valued many aspects of music, then it got pigeonholed down to drums and guitar. Music is down to synthesised and Autotuned with people starting to use AI for the heavy lifting.

I get certain knowledge is lost by each generation because it becomes useless. It just seems we are losing our way on how to even be creative for ourselves.

I don’t care if you a biblical or just believe in creation. Or use the word organic. People are listening less to creation to get a manufactured product from AI.
