Buddy i lost half my life(about 10 years, felt that way) down to amphetamine abuse amongst other class A drugs, so....
Luckily i managed to climb out the other side.
Suffice to say you lose part of your soul in the process.

Magic, no, Big brother in operation, undoubtably so.
What did I tell you.
Quote:You wanna piss someone off. Tell them meth, social media, or their cell phone is influencing them, and they are not even aware of it. Of course you are not pissed off. You are just in complete denial. Big tech is spying on you. By the way, they don't have to turn on your mic to know what you are thinking or discussing. Since 9 times out of 10. Someone is going to pull out a cell phone an research the topic. But they can turn on your mic. Not to mention I am guessing you don't read the terms of service on apps.
Then lets not forget Alexa and your smart TV is listening. Not to mention that google thermostat, they forgot to tell everyone that it had a mic in it, until they updated the software on it long after it had been on the market.

Guilty, but ive never been to Egypt.
I have to say "Alexa" seems to be getting a bit senile imho.
Hopefully her next software update stops her from repeatedly beeping at 3:06 every morning and waking up the dogs.

I am sorry to hear that. At least you managed to beat it. Most don't. But you really aren't in much of a different battle with big tech. And just like meth, trying to tell someone what they like is bad. Doesn't go over well.
My biggest vice was beer and nicotine. I quit drinking about 7 years ago, but it cost me a lot. And no one, I mean no one could tell me what it was doing to me. You think I would have wised up on cigarettes, but nope not a chance. 3 heart attacks later, I have finally quit smoking.

I'm about 5 years off the fags.
Don't really drink much any longer, cant face the hangovers if I'm honest.
Weed is my preferred vice, so yeah big pharma, since i have a script for such nowadays.
It's more ""legal"" that way for a start here in the UK.
