The Congo Bronto ?

The Congo River basin covers approximately 1.5 million square miles across Central Africa with the Likouala region in northern Republic of Congo being particularly inaccessible—characterized by vast swamp forests where water levels fluctuate seasonally creating a landscape neither fully land nor fully water, with dense vegetation making travel nearly impossible except by boat and the area remaining largely unmapped at ground level even today—and indigenous peoples of the Likouala region particularly the Boha, Aka, and Baka tribes have detailed knowledge of Mokele-mbembe ("one who stops the flow of rivers") that predates any European contact, describing it with the same matter-of-fact tone they use for elephants, hippos, and crocodiles as a large semi-aquatic herbivorous creature dangerous when encountered.

Deep in the Gobi Desert where temperatures swing from 113°F in summer to minus 40°F in winter across 500,000 square miles of southern Mongolia and northern China, nomadic herders who live in this brutal landscape speak of something that shouldn't exist called Olgoi-Khorkhoi in Mongolian translating to "Intestine Worm"—described by witnesses as resembling a cow's intestine filled with blood approximately 2 to 5 feet long, as thick as a man's arm, dark red or brownish in color with no visible eyes, no visible mouth, and no clear head or tail making it impossible to tell which end is which.

Though I've always been on the fence, I still find the stories and sightings fascinating.  When so many people have witnessed things like Bigfoot, it you makes you wonder how can so many people be mistaken?? 
There must be something to some of these reports, they all can't be misidentifications??
