When I was stationed at Hill, I was out with the wife.  Had an open carry and got stopped by the cops.  I kept both hands on the wheel when the cop came to the window.  I told him I was armed, but it was on safety.  He asked to see it, I slowly took it from my holster and gave it to him.  He said, "Nice gun. (It was a Bursa) and gave it back to me and wrote me a ticket for speeding.

At all times, I was polite, respectful.

I did not get shot.

How/why he had the gun is going to be the ticket.

It does look like someone retrieved the gun from a holster.

And then it all goes pear-shaped....well, it was always going to go that way if you ask me.

But it could also have been him who pulled the weapon.

One has to ponder how that's possible, being restrained on the floor, by 5 people, whilst being punched/hit by another?

Again, we need more video evidence and witness accounts.

But it's a safe bet to suggest approaching the police, with weapons, during what appeared to be a rather heated situation, is a stupid idea.

And a recipe for death by cop if ever there was one.

Also looks like one of the cops took his gun before the shots.

This is why you have to watch more thn one clip, another angle shows and LEO pulling out something. Some say it's the subject's gun, but this video shows it might just be one of the ammunition clips, NOT the gun, which they are still struggling for, and we hear as mentioned bang scatter bang bang bang

They literally pulled the subject off another protestor....

Looks to me like he has more than a magazine there. The outline matches the Sig, with the laser sight protruding from the top.

He doesn't seem close to the trigger with his grip though, which works against the accidental discharge theory.

I think if that was me, I would have said "I would feel more comfortable if you cuffed me and took it out yourself to look at it"

No chance anything going wrong that way.

I think what I saw was somebody's flashlight that looked similar to what's clipped on one LEO's back

Let's see if Trump does what he should and federalizes the National Guard.
