It's the only thing they are good at, and it resonates so well with thier USAID fraud-loving, tariff-fearing, mask-wearing, social distancing, vaccine mandating, frightened and still getting boosters, base.
The problem is that the rest are sick and tired of living with the faux worry, fear, and concern 24/7, most of us already have other real worries and concerns weekly from our immediate circle. We don't need manufactured or over-hyped bipartisan gripes 24/7, gripes that are so repetitive and consistent they smell an awfully lot like just throwing shit at the OMB wall and seeing what sticks.
This is one reason Trump beat all odds and is in a 2nd term.
Because the Left lost the narrative and along the way they lost thier mojo and enough of the old guard base, the DNC has too many masters to answer to, to be cohesive. The DNC platform is driven by multiple personalities
Ironically, the first one introduced is the leader, "Barry."

Upside of the internet, that is using the web on a computer like GAWD intended is we dont have to have the boob tube on the in background or radio screaming BS 'ganda at us , but can rather have silence or choose what information to ingest and make our own critical thinking decisions.
Downside of the internet is some asshat put it on a mobile pocket computer and then got people addicted to 10 second videos and 1 minute 'articles' to shorten their attention spans and remove said critical thinking, and fed them the 'ganda via emotional manipulation. Then we get to the mess you report up there. 24/7 gripes. Make the people get off the partisan whiny train. The last you pay attention to it the less it effects you. You wouldnt have even realised there was a pandemic if you walked down your neighbourhood street or to the store, you would just be wondering what the weird masks were about. IE the media is a poison.
I guess the conclusion is keep your mobile pocket computers in a drawer until you need it for calling or texting someone.
And God Bless America

Speaking of which, why is this thread exempted from the Deny Politics gulag? It shows up in the "Active Threads" list just like any normal, sane thread about satanic conspiracies, seminal egragores, or sightseeing aliens. I prefer my political compost in the political compost pile, not at tasty Deny Ignorance buffet table.
Did TSK not completely connect the under-gravel filter to all the forums in the fish tank?

As a libertarian type that has some conservative views, I think your lumping all people who appreciate some of the traditional values in Russian culture, that they are striving to keep, as 'allegiance' to the country , is very hyperbolic and silly.
You get some wingbats moving there but from the videos I have seen they seem happy- but I would hardly call the normal every day American Conservative's appreciation of some aspects of it, 'allegiance.'

That's your opinion, about both Russia and Ukraine.
In the end,
Ukrainian culture is not ultimately in jeopardy, the war will not be allowed to remove Ukraine from the map. Too much corruption from the West involved there who need to keep using it.
Russian culture is not ultimately in jeopardy, because they are fighting globalist cultural incursion actively, and will never be allowed to fall , because the West needs a boogieman.
But they can both fight for it. Which is the stupidity that is happening.
And more importantly, why did you bring that crappy proxy war into a thread on the Army's birthday?

It is telling that you view someone pointing out the fact of Russia having conservative values that some Americans resonant with , as a defence of Russia. Very jump to conclusions. (incorrectly)

You're entitled to your opinions as well, as long as you do so respectfully.
That goes without saying, are you implying I have been disrespectful?

Army expects to spend up to $45M for its 250th birthday celebration in DC
Quote:The United States Army is expecting to spend anywhere from $25 million to $45 million on its 250th birthday celebration this June on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., officials told ABC News.
But that number that is likely to grow when factoring in costs from other federal agencies.
According to officials familiar with the plan, the Army's estimate would cover the cost to fly in some 6,600 soldiers for the event and provide them food and housing.
It also would cover the cost of transporting the 150 vehicles -- including tanks -- along with 50 aircraft. Fireworks, military flyovers and musical performances also are planned.
Despite these projections, the total cost to the government for the June 14 event – which falls on President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday – is likely to be higher, given the scope.
Officials say the parade and festival is being deemed a National Special Security Event, a designation that puts it on par with other large-scale national events like the Inauguration or State of the Union.
Such events require additional manpower and resources for security led by the Secret Service.
I will be on vacation then, but I wouldn't have minded being in DC to see this, it looks like quite the hoo-hah. Funnel cakes and corndogs!
And really, the money's not so bad, all things considered. Thought it would be more, actually.

That sounds fun. It's a big anniversary number!
I would love to see a big ol military parade with tanks in person.
