Sounds like a pretty eventful day. It is nice watching all kinds of jets take off, although I only saw that once up here, usually when they were having lots of activity at Sawyer, it seemed they had the base locked down. Now the old base is a county airport. Sawyer was not really that big of a base either, but sometimes they used to have a lot of activity over there, they used to fly over our house for some reason quite a bit. There were only a few small passenger jets that came to our old county airport which is about two miles from our house, and you could definitely hear the difference between the airforce jets and the small commercial jets back then. During their lockdowns they would patrol the road leading to the base and tell you to move on...Used to pick wild berries there once in a while. got told to move on once I think.
