I’ll take pics when I put the bags on and ride a bit.

Hasta luego! Yes I’m still working on my Español…

If it’s hot, wet and sticky and it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

So I rode some nice twisty highways the past few weeks. This was down the Barranca from Guadalajara to Ixlahuacán del Rio and back.

If you expand the one you can see Guadalajara across the valley.

Good riding so far, although it’s very different here with traffic. I ride like I’m in a car and I don’t split lanes or anything stupid, and her loudness has helped people hear as well as see me.

I still think she’s too loud.

Keep a fair amount of water or juice with you and drink plenty of it as you will dehydrate quickly with the wind wicking the moisture off of you.

Ride with your head on a swivel and know what is around you, and remember that most people won’t even notice you!

As for a good run, I rode through Zion National Park and it was fantastic! Remember that you will be in Utah, so no beer on Sunday! Ha!

I have done the PCH a couple times and have found that I enjoyed it going south better than going north on it.

The four corners is a good run too.

I tend to enjoy the old highways and stay off interstates. Less dangerous and more to see.

Above all, enjoy every moment of it!

Lost a friend of mine who was riding with my nephew  about 8 years ago on PCH. He slid out on his Harley near Deer Creek Road. Fog was too heavy at the time to airlift him. But, PCH is a gorgeous drive on motorcycle or in a car. I live about 15 minutes from Malibu, beautiful but have not been near it since the fires happened. I guess you can get better views of the ocean now that the homes arent blocking it.
