Was studying up on Linux with trying to revitalize old Windows Machines. Among the various hate Windows 11 videos covering MS Recall, AI Copilot, and Telemetry. One Might seriously look at Linux options. And the Linux instruction videos. This YouTube personality popped up. LaurieWired. She is very pleasant, seems very knowledgeable, and is well spoken. (Ugh. Hope it isn’t AI. LOL)
Anyway. The video of interest, Why Fighter Jets Ban 90% of C++ has a lead in with an example of a space program disaster. Then goes into a brief history of computers for military aerospace. And the last part of the video gives examples of how C++ is used in a safer manner in aerospace. The last part of the video focuses on no exceptions, no recursion, limits on cyclomatic complexity, and then no memory allocation and deallocation after initialization. And by the extension, why the methodology.
The middle of the video is a bit stilly but cute.
Hope you find the video interesting…
