Maybe there should be a disclaimer on where and who is making any funded claims such as "This message is brought to you and funded by the CCP/PLA/Communist News Network (CNN) and or Euro news. " 

Much of the Democratic drivel we hear is a funded Psyop by our ever present communist with many seemingly innocent sounding names who want to destroy capitalism and America in particular; the leader of the free world etc etc.

Journalism has been killed 10+ years ago, now it's all about clicks and audience ratings. 'Info' is brought up by talking heads and are mostly designed to rile up a 'side' against another, whether either exists or not.

Im pretty sore about Investigative Journalism being treated as a pariah and lost art in the 21st century. Again some of the most profound changes in American history if not the world can be attributed to this news form. Sure they were called muckrakers once upon a time, but I personally like QC standards for food, water, and Malacca for poisoning the environment too. Etc etc.

But now Influencers have taken the limelight along with AI with both being full of errors both in ethos but practice as well. The fact that AI’s owners can’t get rid of the “hallucinations” inherent in their LLM programs is hysterical if not sad. Also the fact that AI users are being reported as having a potential diminished brain power capacity, along with one’s ability to think critically about something is also concerning.

But yeah, unfortunately people trying to find the truth are viewed as a liability and not heroes.

So recently an Israeli businessman went on US news to say that social media platforms must be reigned in with regards to Free Speech. All of them. And yeah while social media isn’t explicitly the yardstick for “fire in a movie theater”, this is the global soapbox. I guess some are more truly equal than others. He seems to think the “lies” some Americans believe about what’s happening in Gaza are “lies” that need to be subverted, er “controlled”. The chutzpah on this dude…

He seems to take issue with the fact (along with half his countrymen) that the Gaza War isn’t being reported, as um, he would like. Maybe it’s why Bibi has taken a shining to TikTok, YT, and now recently Meta in light of the narrative proving unfavorable. I guess that’s why Israel let in all those international journalists and the IDF hasn’t killed scores of journalists covering the war.

But yeah it’s a hill I’ll die on. Not social media mind you. But ANY foreigner that thinks they can tell Americans what to think and say. We are already circling the drain on critical thinking and statistal analysis as it pertains to oneself. Laughable to some of you who know this and have for awhile. Yet, something about an “informed citizenry”.

While this is my first stab at a thread, it harkens to so many others here, and fundamentally what we are all doing here in some form or another. To find out more about the truth.

ETA: you’d think Bibi would want to leave up the posters that may be suspected of harboring “Jew-haters” in their basement. But ya know, it’s odd, between the $7k payout per pro-Israel posts from Influencers and having YT take down videos of the war in Gaza, it almost seems like he is t interested.

See I don’t mean to conflate hating Jews with questioning Israel’s involvement or policies. The same I wouldn’t hate America or its people while admonishing its policies at home and abroad.

Not suggesting the thread go this direction either. So, full stop. This is about controlling the narrative, and questioning why one, or their government would deem this necessary.
