We have a new book to review.

I suspect the bracketed numbers refer to page numbers. Page 56- is the first page of Chapter 4- Giving Things. This has some oddness- Bill had a reunion with 2- 5 year old twins and an 18 year old boy. "3 years ago I learned of a Haitian girl who was so weak with AIDS..." "Our program now works in 25 countries."..."and 44 more nations are able to buy low cost drugs and testing materials under our contract." This book is very heavy with 25, although page 69 has 26 lines.

The adult generic ARV was successfully lowered to $139 per year. However for children the cost was $600. The first Clinton Global Initiative was held September 2009- "For 3 days, we held intense discussions about issues; collected many good ideas as well as successful projects that should be expanded; and secured more than $2.5billion in pledges to take specific actions.: 14 did not commit. We held an event to announce our joint efforts at a hospital in Port-au-Prince." He moved to Rwanda where 800,000 people had been slaughtered in 90 days in 1994 to scale up health systems. Clinton went to visit him in 2006. "It has enrolled 1,700 patients in its rural care model, trained over 800 healthcare workers..." "Partners In Health is renovating another hospital to serve 300,000 people." They even focused on launching clean water, something that has never been on Gates agenda.
