De grâce, Neil! Un peu de modestie, non d'un chien!

Does he likes the mirror, or the reflection? Asking for a friend.
As far as the apple tree is concerned, there's probably not much difference between a worm and a human...

Ironic that Mr Tyson the "Scientist" doesn't actually understand that it's impossible to kiss your own lips in a mirror because there will always be a thickness of glass in the way to prevent contact.

"Scientists Say..." ignorant things sometimes. I'd love to hear his excuse for his opinion being not wrong.

Wisdom knocks quietly, always listen carefully.... and be a River flowing calmly.

Quantum particles explored. Enjoy.

But if Quantum gravity was not the "magic" element of the theory after all, they may as well have asked an LLM to generate it.

Classic gravity might not be the answer to all.
This effort to make our definitions meet a theoretical model are great and all,
but the myopia in the minutiae is daunting.

At least this idea seeks harmony with the model... not DEMANDS 'quantum' mechanical theory as a "delineates reality" function, unmeasured but certain, because of someone's mathematical finesse.

Measure twice, cut once.
Obtuse? Yes... but I love the topic anyway.

Clearly, I am no scientist.

But just think of how much money will be saved if nobody has to keep investigating this anymore.  The money comes from somewhere, and usually that money comes from consumers of products or from taxes.

So, why is that bad...there must be something else those scientists can do to pay for their wages/salaries.  Maybe they can start investigating all those food chemistries used on food that are making us all chronically ill or something.  Lol   They would probably do a lot smarter than those working at the FDA and CDC for figuring it out.

Apologies to all his fans... but I do not approve generally of "pop scientists" foisted by media as "the last word" on anything... ever...  even their 'overviews' often trouble me... their flare is for creating a narrative to spread the current scientific state of affairs...  they do well, some very well...

But having personal experience with the Research community... as a direct observer... I know that much of science has become almost "doctrinal" in expression... so scientific dissent for example, is jettisoned because "they didn't do it our way."  That's not healthy for progress...

There are topics these well-loved scientists simply dismiss as unworthy... and others simply don't 'fit' in the 'model' selected this season...

The "culture" of the scientific community needs to be surveyed and reported without any virtue language, without any 'allegiances' and certainly NO politics...   These people can't seem to say anything without 'selling' something else.

It's the ever-present dissenter on my shoulder...

Nevertheless... 'celebrity' scientists aside, I think our continuous collective 'acceptance by silence" feeding on the "quantum" universe concept is myopic and has slowed progress in both research and knowledge... but it makes good press...

Scientists seem enamored of their cleverness within a theoretical 'quantum' framework... operating endlessly to 'achieve' a mathematical "quantum" leap (pardon the pun) that will explain "everything" in one mathematical expression....

The key however of my dissent argument is not about the math... it's about the presumptions in the model.

As if our conceptual "models" were "perfectly complete" to begin with...
