So the Trump administration is not fascist, but uses the same tactics of fascism?
I think most people that were ani Trump during his first term look a little retarded now.
But they doubled-down especially after the previous administration. And that's my main point.
When comparing the utter lawlessness of the previous administration to the current one where common sense and law and order are used, it's a stark contrast that many on the left imagine is fascism.
To make some comparisons is foolish. Hitler and Mussolini wore pants. Trump wears pants, ergo; Trump's a nazi-fascist?
The Trump administration is tempered by congress (see the shutdown) and by the courts. In fact, the previous administration ignored actual court orders for student loan forgiveness.
If he were fascist, he'd ignore both and do what he wanted.
Hell, Trump is tempered by his own party, so no one on the right is marching in goose-step to the left's imaginary drumbeat.
I am not convinced that Trump is a fascist. I don't feel that you have displayed evidence of Trump's fascism.
If anything, this debate has solidified my position that law and order and common-sense are the anathema to the left.
I would like to thank my opponent and mods for this opportunity to debate.

You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.
