I have the gist now....
This is about saying the American government is fascists.
It seems evident to me that this is a very misunderstood concept...
From wiki
Fascism.
Quote:....complicated and highly disputed subject concerning the exact nature of fascism and its core tenets debated amongst historians, political scientists, and other scholars ever since Benito Mussolini first used the term in 1915....
It also goes on to note that even the 'ideology' of fascism is largely debatable... a matter of opinion amongst the most learned scholars.
Quote:Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines fascism as "a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition"
IMP = The Second Trump Administration Is employing Fascist tactics
DBC = "the current US administration is not fascist."
the contention now becomes the soup to boil....
Is it about "the government" or is it about "the governing."
I ask you merge these two not exactly parallel assertions...
unless you need the wiggle room.
You see, I am seeing a) "The current US administration," and "the second Trump administration"
as equivalent... but b) "is not fascist" and "is employing fascist tactics" are
not equivalent.
Ready set go!
Just kidding....
Ready to go with your title... when it syncs up.
