But I already told you this.
And what I was referring to was your desire to keep birth defects. AKA autism, born in the wrong body, and so on.
I was replying specifically on your post re: keep birth defects. Hey, people are free to select whatever gene editing they want to remove whatever they want, it's none of my business.
Autism is not born in the wrong body, it's been around since the dawn of humanity as per empirical science's new study.

Autism is brain wiring -- science is decades off from messing with the brain during gestation -- like I said this reminds me of Josef Mengele.
Autism spectrum -- although not yet named in past generations -- is not new -- and existed before plastic was invented. Plastic has only been around for a little over 100 years.
Nothing to do with vaccinations, earth quakes, viruses, etc.
There is behavior modification for Autistics -- only to help them navigate the world around them.
Just like any human anomaly -- there's a range off how they are affected.
I'm now wondering if they start tinkering with gene therapy what other soup ingredients that need other ingredients would be affected?

The topic is. How the corruption of science has impacted public perception. And if it is corrupt over there, it is corrupt over here.
In addition. Instead of preventing a birth defect, or no matter what autism is. You people want to keep it.
I had a crap mother. I have 2 birth defects, that could have been fixed. Instead of fixing them when I was young, saving me a lot of pain and suffering, and no one would have been the wiser. She was nice enough to tell me, she would not let the doctor fix them.
You people remind me of her. Not exactly a good thought. I'm pushing 60 now. If I lived in the state her grave is in, and knew where it was. I would definitely go spit on it.

Wow, I think empirical science or birth defects is not your main problem after that post.

You can think what ever you want. Because you do anyway. No matter what evidence is presented for you to ignore.

I am pro science -- and not necessarily against gene therapy. But it sure as Hell must be monitored and regulated. No one needs another Josef Mengele.
I posted earlier a link to: "Born Different" on Facebook -- so many anomalies -- what's the obsession with Autism. Of course, that was brushed aside with a negative comment.
There's even pre-birth surgery -- where the baby is removed from the womb -- operated on -- and put back into the mother's uterus.
But messing with the brain wiring pre-birth? That's extreme.

I have a birth defect that took doctors 50 years to find.
It affected by entire life -- today I can only treat the symptoms -- because the damage is already done.

And you guys want to keep them. Go figure. Can you imagine telling a kid. I am proud to say, I fought to keep your birth defect. And then we have some empirical kinda guy telling me I have the problem.
Go figure.

Birth anomaly.
High functioning Autism -- is only recently being recognized. Although it's been around for generations.
You want to blame it on plastics.
There is zero reason to fix someone with high functioning Autism.
Other disabling anomalies - including severe Autism - are studied scientifically and modification treatments are available.

You guys are a round and round she goes, where the deflection stops no one knows. I have already posted I doubt a fix for someone with autism. So nothing but another deflection. (Here is the problem. You people don't want to stop birth defects before they happen.)
So you can quit with the after the fact deflections. But I suppose if there was a after the fact cure. You guys wouldn't want it.
I know plastic causes birth defects, ask Mr. Empirical evidence about how we know. To the extent of birth defects it causes, remains to be seen. The fact that it is causing birth defects and global warming, should be enough to make any democrat or republican want to get rid of as much as we can.
But you and the empirical evidence guy like birth defects. So it is really no skin off your noses if we keep it.
