It wasn't so much as asking for an explanation of why Tarzan had no beard, rather the ridiculousness of the fact the character had no beard considering his situation ... you know, the lack of thought/detail that can be found in some movies; implausible (failing to convince).

According to Google, a clean-shaven man is totally within the bounds of science lol... maybe Mother Nature just never delivered the stubble to Tarzan. I mean, look at some photos of indigenous tribesmen living in the jungle, most don’t have a single hair on their face. 

Plus, it's only a flaw if the story contradicts that possibility.

Well with that scenario of men being with other men and having sharp tools and weapons, it would stand to reason they could shave off their hair. Tarzan's situation was nothing like that and I don't recall him having any tools or weapons either. Sticks and stones, maybe as per his ape tribes mates? lol

Well I guess this settles it lol... 

Tarzan did have a knife. 
In the novels and movies he carries a knife, just not the main focus in those Hollywood films.
I haven’t seen a Tarzan movie in a long time... might have to rewatch one now lol.

Maybe he just didn’t want to look like Bigfoot.
Now I'm thinking, shaving with a Bowie knife makes Tarzan a badass!

Well, I stand corrected. LOL No wonder he was the King of the Apes and Jungle, he had a knife.

I like foreign movies. One particular comedy I liked is French...but my sense of humor can be slapstickish, so take that as a guide.
