Wishing everyone a blessed and safe Christmas, and love and safety to those that celebrate other seasonal holidays.  

I heard so many cars travel home very late last night, and was glad the power didn't go out, because that is the frequent unfortunate yardstick for someone hitting a power pole.   Be safe everyone and count your blessings.  The world has become a frightening and wonderful place.

Ive got this fireplace video playing a nice glass of Drambouie, a "hello dolly" coconut desert thingy and my Christmas Eve makes me plenty to be thankful for...

I never understood egg nog fascination, always felt like borderline teetotaler stuff. Granted perhaps Im biased my exes inlaws used to have a decent recipe though, but I'd always try and spike my cup, with some Makers Mark or Wild Turkey.

I would rather have coffee and Kahlua or brandy or a good old white Russian
