Your Monicker - How Did You Come Up With It?

This has my wheels spinning. I like all the symbolical references.

So, you define yourself as: ‘sweetly malleable, and easy to work with’

Honestly, argentus (never capitalized), I think that does define what I’ve seen from you in the last 17 years or so.  Beer  For transparency!

Long names are common in Portugal, my boss has two first names and five surnames (two from her husband) for a total of 20 syllables. Smile

Yes, but that’ ALL cheating ArMaP!

A for effort.  Beer

Only 3 names are allowed in the new ‘name syllable contest’.

As I’m fully aware, my monicker is somewhat cryptic. It was actually a nickname that was given to me, a very long time ago. As I’ve mentioned before, I live in Sedona. Due to that, I have a serious disdain for narcissists giving themselves ‘spiritual’ names. You are who you are — and nicknames should be bestowed, not self professed.

So here is how I got my name: I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness. When I was 16, I started working on a commercial floor covering crew. The entire crew of 15 guys were all Jehovah’s Witnesses. The majority of us were 16- 40 years old. One of the crew, just so happened to be an ex LA gangster (Daniel Ramirez), that partook in the Rodney King riots, back in 1991. He told me many stories. About how he looted Circuit City — AND killed two people. Yes, he had the tear drop tattoos under his eye.

More background, I am the only person with my full name in the entire world. My first name was made up by my parents. It starts with a K. My middle name also starts with a K. THANK GAWD my last name does NOT start with a K — it is a C (very close) and is an eclectic Italian name.

SO, because of me being me, this ex Mexican gangster from LA — gave me the name K K Loco. Due to the fact that I ALWAYS said what was on my mind. You know, I said what everyone else was thinking. It got me in a lot of hot water. But alas, 29 years later, allows me to bestow the name of being CRAZY — by a murderer!

TOP THAT!

Gee, I have been given many nicknames along the way, like 'Smiley", "Bobo",  etc. I like 'quintessentone' because it accurately describes me at this moment in time.

The meaning is 'the most representative example of something' and as I am now elderly I have come full circle in being my true self.

As for my avatar, well as a life-long learner, I started studying psychology and neuroscience and I was amazed that the neuron so resembled a human hand that I wanted to share that ... 'out there', but I did manipulate the original neuron pic a little just to add the whirlpool effect, just because I am also an artist and that is what I do.

Who knows? I may change my moniker and avatar as I go head first into the abyss.

Oops it looks like my DI avatar overrides my graphic neuron avatar...gotta fix that. The chariot card is a tarot card which is the seventh major arcana card and represents someone who needs to focus on a special goal. I may use that avatar again soon because I think it's time I put my energies into that one special goal...but I have to get inspired first. Or I may keep it just to inspire me. Ha
