Are we to understand that auditory hallucinations, such as voices, may be more disruptive to one's well being than an occasional visual hallucination?
And are we to understand that drugs like psychedelics are not helpful in countering the deleterious effects of bothersome voices or suggestions of demons?
And that even though some people, through no fault of their own, have no choice but to deal with certain annoying manifestations and/or hallucinations, the general populace should just simply not seek out these complications?
And occultists may be destructive jerks, not helpful to themselves or others?
Each person is different, and each group dynamic has their motives and metholodogies.
Psychdelic Guided Therapy has shown remarkable improvement in some peoples lives, help cure addictions in some cases, and helping reduce the effects of severe depression in others. But it's not taking drugs all day every day, set and setting and company have a lot of power in such trials.
Persoanlly I'm more fond of the local folk magic, good cooking, crystals and certain nature sites...but some people who get involved in the darker asepcts of the occult (for monetary gains, power, revenge, what have you) end up dealing with more than they bargained for, and usually not for the betterment of themselves of others.
The wiccans I know say it's the Law of Three or Law of Five, whatever you send out, comes back to you three or fivefold, so never meddle with dark forces or vengeful spirits or spells.
