We are all dying started the day we were born not sure where the fear of dying came from since it happens every day.

Don't you think it may take the luster out of this life?

Or take away any sort of meaning we may ascribe.

Humans fear death because we don't know what comes next, if anything.

Take away that fear of the unknown, and you change the human condition.

Maybe there are certain things we shouldn't know the answer to on this side of the reality we think we experience.

Or imagine if we learned truths we didn't like (which I imagine we would).

It could well turn out to be the paradigm shift humanity requires, or part of some great filter.

Careful what we wish for, and all that jazz.  Saint2
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."
