AI-generated propaganda may be better...
#5
Interesting article.

I am left wondering that it points towards large western companies being the ones to emphasise the use of A.I. for foreign countries who use it in propoganda aimed at the west. I read this as a defence mechanism and a cointel ploy to reduce it's effectiveness over what the west does not only abroad but to it's own people in the same manner. Finger pointing to cover tracks.

I was often surprised at the vivacity of Elon Musk against A.I. in the same respect. It's a war of A.I. but more about a war of credibility perhaps with the cleanest shiniest persona being the best one for the public to trust. An evolution of politicians if you like.

It's all a sign of failing humans I guess. Humans who are scared to trust a persons voice, even a parent, more than words on a screen or on paper. Much less scrutiny (output/giving) means more time for Me Me Me (imput).

I never in my life thought I'd get to be part of such a shallow and dualistic world.

I use Chat GPT sometimes as it's better than a search engine in that I can evolve the information until there is a satisfactory conclusion. It is fallable though and I love pointing it out. Repeated answers in lists is quite common and it's nice when it apologises and understands.

I had a great chat the other day when I was constructing a written equation for "life". It took a while to convince it to ignore Einstein's E=MC2 for so much reference, but once past that I/we came to some great conclusions to the point where it was actually praising me with phrases like "That's a wonderful interpretation!" and "that's a beautiful way to understand its significance" etc. All quite philosophical.

A.I. has it's uses and I have also had some great results with A.I. art programs too, but it's ALL about the imput.

Regarding propoganda though. It's not what we do to a head, it's the head we do it to, and that is why the world of A.I. is scary for the future. Beware the button pushers, beware the receivers more.

It's not that "it" will harm anything or anyone, it's that people en masse have become so dependant on machines they have plugged into a Matrix of ignorant stupidity which can now be used to manipulate on a micromanaged level and people just don't care in favour of their personal convenience and self entitlements while being steered at will.

I try hard not to plug in to the negative things in the first place and love the Analogue ways I still have.

Too many soulless bots around too, especially on ats over the last six months or so. Perhaps loading the next wave for the next election if the site makes it that far. I think it will after the last cockup but who knows?

This is no longer "Nerbot" of ats. This is "Nerb" of Earth...for now. Thankyou to the site for affording the opportunity for a new start with a slightly seasoned mind. I am a simple person but like to offer perspective where possible.
