The government and media is saying that China is using Tik Tok to steal our information.

Yet the same government uses Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Discord, to steal our information.

I don't think Tik Tok should be banned.

If you want your info stolen, then it should be up to you.

I'd agree that this is a "buyer beware" situation. I do think the government's only part in this should be to update our laws to regulate what private information can be marketed or even stored. They let this get out of hand, so it's hard to blame businesses for profiting from our antiquated laws.
